Initial Oral Examination
Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations. Because of our commitment to you, we use digital x-rays, which greatly reduces the amount of radiation that you receive when compared to traditional film. The appropriate x-rays may include the panoramic x-ray for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth and bite-wing x-ray series for proper diagnosis of proximal decay of posterior teeth, or a full mouth series of x-rays.
